Building Our New Church

Shaping Our Future in Faith
Our new church will establish a sacred spiritual home set apart for worship, the celebration of the Holy Sacraments, and the ecclesiastical life of the Church for generations to come.
As affirmed by our parish at the Spring and Fall 2025 Parish General Assembly meetings, we are moving forward with the construction of our new church — a beautiful Byzantine-style church designed to reflect the fullness and beauty of Orthodox worship.
Why We Are Building
Our parish continues to grow, and with that growth comes both responsibility and opportunity. The new church has been thoughtfully designed to:
-
Accommodate more than double our current average Sunday attendance
-
Provide additional seating for feast days and special services
-
Preserve the architectural beauty and sacred atmosphere of a traditional Byzantine church
-
Remain financially responsible and aligned with our fundraising capacity
The location of the new church will allow us to continue using our existing buildings and facilities, ensuring that ministries such as Greek School, Sunday School, youth programs, dance groups, outreach efforts, and parish gatherings remain uninterrupted and vibrant.
Project Timeline
Construction will begin once the necessary funding has been secured. We are prayerfully anticipating a groundbreaking event in late Spring 2026.
A dedicated development team has been working diligently for more than two years to guide every aspect of planning, design, and fundraising to ensure this project reflects both wisdom and stewardship.
Our Capital Campaign
As of February 24, 2026, we have secured:
$1,919,905 — 54.85% of our $3.5 million goal
($1,221,405.6100 is a restricted escrow account and $698,498 has been pledged by members of our community)
We are deeply grateful for the generosity and faith of our parishioners and friends.
How You Can Participate
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7
Every gift is a sacred offering. In the spirit of the widow’s mite (Mark 12:43–44), stewardship is measured not by the size of the gift, but by the love and sacrifice with which it is given.
With gratitude to God and the support of our parish community, we are moving forward with the construction of our new church. This sacred space will serve as a spiritual home for worship, prayer, fellowship, and future generations.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”
— Psalm 127:1
